Tech Tip- Most battery powered walk behind floor sweepers use gel or AGM batteries that require little to no maintenance. However, when it comes to charging the batteries, special care needs to be taken. When the machine requires charging, because the battery indicator has reached low levels, plug the machine in and allow the batteries to fully charge. If the operator plugs the machine in for a few minutes to try and complete their task, and the machine shuts off, battery damage can occur if this happens frequently overtime, which is not covered under warranty.
